RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM

The Doris Jean Grant Residential Program has five, 3-person homes in neighborhoods in Autauga and Elmore Counties. Each is certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health Division of Developmental Disabilities. Well-trained, certified and monitored staff assists the homes’ residents in daily living skills in selecting and preparing their meals, doing their laundry and typical household responsibilities to the best of their abilities. Community events, church involvement, dining out, sports activities and shopping keep residents actively engaged in community life.
